Appartment On the images above you see the appartment attached to our house - the former architect's firm that has been altered into an appartment of 50 m2 - where you can reside. The sculpture you see is by the Danish artist (sculptor painter) Hans August Andersen (1926-2003), a good friend from the architect of the house ir. R.G.M.P. Feekes (1925-2002). In the appartment are also a few of his paintings. Smoking & Pets Policy There is a No smoking & Pets Policy in the appartment. Prices The basic price is 80 euro's for one or two persons a night and 25 euro's for every extra person. |
Facilities There is a double bed in the sleeping area and a sofa bed (double bed) in the sitting room with dinette. If necessary there is room for a child that can sleep on the small other sofa bed. You have your own bathroom with washbassin, a shower, wardrobe's and a separate toilet. There is also a tv, internet, stereo and a well stocked bookcase with several books in the English language. Breakfast We can put out everything for your breakfast in your appartment. You have your own store cupboard, fridge, coffeemachine, waterboiler and toaster. From 9:30 in the morning you can also have breakfast in our house. This is included in the price. It is also possible to have a reasonibly priced simple evening meal with us. |

Nature- and recreationpark 'De Groene Ster' Tytsjerk is situated 20 minutes cycling east of the city Leeuwarden. The residential area Woelwijk in Tytsjerk is situated at the edge of nature- and recreationpark De Groene Ster (The Green Star) between Leeuwarden and Tytsjerk, where you can hike and cycle in the open areas, woods and parks and can fish and swim in the Wielen (Wheels). Leeuwarder golfclub There is also the beautiful 18 holes golfcourse of the Leeuwarder Golfclub very closeby. | Grote Wielen At the 'Grote Wielen' (Big Wheels) you can rent a boat, swim, and walk through soggy meadows in the company of horses and kettle. Park Vijversburg In the Bos van Ypey or Park Vijversburg, two minutes away from the appartment you can find several sculptures and they regularly organize open air expositions. Apart from a teahouse, there is a birdhouse and a greenhouse with several cactae specimen. |
